So for those of you who Dr. Luigi could not bait into his 'surgery' first time round on Wii U, not sure if you could trust him? needed a second opinion? Well Nintendo's latest offer on this Wii U eShop title is for you:.
Buy Dr. Luigi from the Nintendo eShop for the current price of 13.49 GBP or 14.99 EURO and get Dr. Mario free for the Wii U virtual console (must both be purchased on the same Wii U) This offer applies until 20/02/2014 at 23:59 UTC.

Armed with plenty of multi-coloured, two-part capsules, help Dr. Luigi clear a bottle infested with nasty viruses. Annihilate the nuisances by dropping pills of the same colour next to or on top of them – create a horizontal or vertical line of four or more like-coloured pieces and they’ll disappear. Empty the whole bottle to move on to tougher challenges – but if it fills to the brim, the viruses win!
So if anyone was unsure which of the Mario Bros they'd like to be their doctor most, that difficult decision has now been removed from you, as they both stand ready to plunge what ails you out of your system.

- We've added a Wii U Desktop Wallpaper section featuring wallpapers in lots of different resolutions for Mario & Sonic at Sochi 2014, Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Luigi U and New Super Mario Bros U as well as adding an additional Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon wallpaper to the 3DS wallpaper section.

Donkey Kong and his primate associates are back for another exciting
adventure, this time in the form of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze which
is coming out on the Wii U on the 21st of Feb 2014 (in the UK and Europe, Japan
and the States probably had it in 2012).

Happy Friday all.
Added a couple of things for you to check out
- Enhanced the Super Smash Bros U / 3DS page with more info and added pics and info on all the stages
- Added a section for Nintendo eShop Wii U Title: Dr. Luigi

I'd also like to announce that were going to be setting up a retro column, each Friday or Saturday where we'll add a retro Mario article, sometimes it might be about Mario stuff from the old Nintendo Power Magazines, sometimes the Valiant Mario Comics and Nintendo Comics System, maybe a Nintendo adventure book, or even just a piece on an oldschool piece of Mario memorabilia.
Of course our normal game guides, info and media will continue alongside this, we're also going to try and get interviews with some important figures from the Mario universe.

- World Star Complete Guide - All Green stars, all stamps guide + unlocking Rosalina in the "Super Galaxy" (one word short of Super Mario Galaxy) level of World Star (Level 2) in Super Mario 3D World
- Added a collection of animated GIFs featuring scenery, Yoshi's and Baby Mario from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
- Also, a rather epic picture, what are the odds that when you throw water in the air and pick up your camera that you'll have a picture of Mario jumping like below? Hey guys, been a while since I've done a general site update, so heres a list of things we've added here at TheMarioBros lately
- Mario Party: Island Tour (Nintendo 3DS) game section including artwork, screenshots, cheats/unlockables guide, box art from various countries, the games trailer and some information about the games modes, boards and minigames.
- World 6 and World Bowser full green star and stamp guides have been added to our Super Mario 3D World Green Star & Stamp Guide
- A few more pictures have been added to our Funny Pictures section
- Added Artwork and Screenshots from upcoming Nintendo 3DS title - Yoshi's New Island
- Added a collection of animated Super Mario Kart GIFS to the Super Mario Kart game section
- I'm messing with changing the background image so it works with lots of different resolutions instead of just my own ridiculously obscure screen setup. If anyone can help please mail me on luke AT classic-mario.net
- We've also seen a lot more cool videos added to our YouTube channel, which you definitely need to subscibe to if you are a Mario fan, check out two of our recent additions below:-

We also passed the 1k followers mark on pinterest, 250 subscribers on YouTube and 500 subscibers on Tumblr marks! Thanks to all of our new visitors and followers.
We are also looking for a reviewer to write about modern Mario games for SuperLuigiBros.com (3DS, Wii U titles) - think you can help? then please get in touch on luke AT classic-mario DOT net. We only need one person, so you will be our exclusive reviewer, the only requirement is that you write only for us - else it results in content duplication which due to google regs, is not good for anyone.
So what next? Stay tuned for our next update, we'll have more funny pics, how to unlock Rosalina in Super Mario 3D World, a slideshow of screenshots from Yoshi's New Island, a full game page on Yoshi's New Island and whatever other wonderful things I can think of to add :-)
