What the artwork from Super Mario 3D World has revealed so far

Nintendo's Super Mario 3D World would have not been that attractive at first sight if not because of its set of enthusiastically-created artwork pieces. So, what are these interesting artworks? Let`s us give you just the ten most interesting ones. (You`ll discover the rest when you play the game.)
New Worlds
It's called the New Worlds, but it looks like just the classic Mario worlds—21st
Century version. In the artwork you can see the grass which filled the
foreground, the sunken ship, and Big Bully standing on the snowy level. In the
background we have the theme park, tropical island, volcano, etc. Over-all, the
artworks portrays the picture of the “worlds” as the player goes from one place
to another or play from one level to the next.
The Bullet Train
Did you miss Boom Boom and Pom Pom? Well, after appearing as airship bosses in
Super Mario 3D Land, they're back on track for a level set on a train. This
Bullet train could be one of the end levels which you have to run along as you
pass that Thwomp to get to the end, where the boss is waiting.
Sunken Ship
The idea for this level was probably taken from Super Mario 64 or New Super
Mario Bros. sunken airship. Talking about Super Mario 64, Plunder, The Sunken
Ship in Jolly Roger Bay is a star challenge in which you had to go deep into the
ocean to the shipwreck, remove the eel, get inside the boat and unlock each
chest in correct order. When everything was done perfectly, the sunken ship will
rise and you'll be rewarded with a star.
Green Star Bonus World
So in this world, your role is a toad, not Mario. And this Toad is similar to
that which belongs to Toad Brigade from Super Mario Galaxy. If you have watched
the trailer for Super Mario 3D World, you might saw him going around a pipe in
the world map.
Head In The Clouds
Just like in grassy, snowy and lava levels, there are also bonus cloud stages.
However, if you play multiplayer, there's only one prize in the end so you need
to run the race in the clouds to get that precious prize. Exciting, isn't it?
New Enemies
Since it's a new version, we also expect new enemies. In the artwork, the first
one you notice is the bird, wearing shades and preying a snail, which looks like
just an obstacle rather than an enemy—just like Piranha Plants, which would just
peck at you as you run past them. Another enemy is the bug. You've seen it in
the trailer. Together with other bugs, it would attack you.
Big Bully
The boss in Lethal Lava Land from Super Mario 64 is back to attack! An old enemy
in Super Mario World, Big Bully—or just one who looked like him—is now assigned
in snow level. From lava to snow? Play the game and you`ll see how things work
in 3D.
Cat Bullet Bills
From Tanooki Boos, Tanooki Bullet Bills and Tanooki Goomba from Super Mario 3D
Land, and Cat Goom from Nintendo Direct artwork release, here comes Cat Bullet
Bills. Can we expect another cat characters in Super Mario 3D World?
Kamek
Kamek made his debut as Magikoopa in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and
now he's part of Super Mario 3D World.
Super Mario Galaxy Comet Observatory?
Yeah, it looked like the Comet Observatory, a hub from Super Mario Galaxy. When
you complete the game, Super Mario 3D Land had special worlds for you. I haven't
completed the game yet, but I'd like to be the Comet Observatory. Would you?
So in summary what we have to look forward to is the return of classic
characters, the modification (cat versions) of at least a few existing
characters, the introduction of at least two new characters, the possible return
of the Sunken Ship and other lands from past Mario titles and maybe even the
Comet Observatory!

Super Browser Bros

So you don't have access to a games console right now but wish you could play
some oldskool Super Mario Bros? if thats the case you'll be jumping for joy
smashing up bricks when you read this.
Mario, Luigi and friends have smashed there way into your web browser and filled
it with the classic Nintendo title that once upon a time changed the fate of the
videogame industry.
The site "Fullscreen
Mario" was made by Josh Goldberg in HTML5 and it even features a level
editor allowing players to make their own custom DIY levels. It is said that
Mario's world is viewed best in Google Chrome in this instance.
Multiplayer co-op madness sees a great improvement in upcoming Super Mario 3D World.

As a long time supporter of co-op play in Mario games, even I was a bit undecided by how it turned out in New Super Mario Bros Wii, there is an obvious novelty value... but after a while lesser players causing those with madskills (me) to fail could be distressing.
"It puts the madness in Mario madness" some less easily annoyed gamers might say. But taking a ramming from Toad while you're trying to execute delicate manoeuvres is often the last thing you want. However, in Super Mario 3D World, four player multiplayer's cuts out a lot of the turmoil found in New Super Mario Bros. actually, they have achieved what I always wanted them to - made it better to play co-op than single player.
However, when Super Mario 3D World arrives, it's another story. The newly released version of Super Mario game has managed to avoid the problems encountered by players in the classic 2D Super Mario. The movement of the game is much lesser, thus, the possibility of annoying “accidental death” of your character is also lesser. The game is more focused on collecting coins, all four players competing against each other
Overall, in Super Mario 3D World, the action is slower and more measured than the typical 2D Mario game. To be able to lessen the chance of running into some errant enemy or falling off the screen by mistake there's more on-screen real estate to work with. Modern Mario series that has a much-needed jolt with its tweaks to the game's precision of movement is what Super Mario 3D land offered.
Super Mario 3D World (E3 2013)
Multiplayer doesn’t feel more measured because there's so much happening on screen in Super Mario 3D World. The action is frenetic with four players bouncing around the screen, throwing themselves around competing for coins. It is really enjoying running around with my co-op partner as the returning Princess Peach, and while wearing the new, adorable catsuit power-up it is more fun fighting for coins and climbing walls.
One of the things I hated in New Super Mario was the battle with Bowser. All of four players had to avoid his attacks, accidentally colliding into one another that would eventually result to unwanted death of our characters. However in 3D, the characters could overlap each other while getting rid of Bowser's bombs as he drives away with his car that`s similar to a purple Cadillac owned by Wario in some of the Mario Kart titles. It's easy for all of us to co-exist on a screen and not being overcrowded and annoying. Furthermore, it's best if you play in a huge TV screen, making you oversee the vast land and easier notice of the obstacles ahead.
For someone who likes to play a co-op game, Super Mario 3D World is the best choice for fun times with a group of friends. It's more fun playing around together, doing something simultaneously on the screen without hitting or killing each other. Aside from that, the view is not limited to a 2-dimentional location as you can openly explore and see the world easier. Most of all, the whole game is entertaining and worth it!
Daughter Gets to Live in Super Mario's World

When 13-year old daughter, AJ, asked
her dad for a Mario room, 38-year old Dustin Carpenter didn`t fail her daughter.
Unlike the usual room renovation for any household at Green Bay, Wisconsin,
Carpenter had her daughter`s room filled with Super Mario Bros. characters,
lightings and sound effects just like in any classic 80`s Nintendo game series.
According to him, it was supposedly a bat cave at first, but AJ changed her mind
and asked for Mario instead. Spending weeks of painting the walls with her
daughter`s favorite Mario characters and scenes, Carpenter didn`t expect the
room to be as detailed as it turned out.
Except for Mario, Bowser and the
Gumba which are vinyl decals, everything in the wall, including Boo, the Piranha
Plant, the clouds, the pipe and the bricks, was hand-painted by him. The blue
paint, however, was done by someone who came in and helped. AJ also did her best
in filling in some of the bricks for her favorite characters.
Aside from the walls, Carpenter also gave AJ a Mario-themed bedding, character
plush toys and pillows and blinds. Carpenter also built a flag pole, a symbol of
victory in the game, where Mario would raise a yellow flag after completing each
level.
Everything seemed to be perfect, but the Mario-themed bedroom would not come
alive without the different push buttons that Carpenter installed in AJ`s room.
She got to hear various sounds such as the "dum-dum-dum" when Mario goes down a
green tube and the "1 Up" sound. Along with the sound effects, Carpenter also
did not forget about the lights. The switch itself was designed just like the
old Nintendo controller to play the classic theme song for Super Mario Bros.
Carpenter didn`t mention how much the whole renovation cost, and it really
didn't matter at all. He, who worked full time in a telecommunications company,
had spent his free time creating a Super Mario Bros. world in his daughter's
bedroom. Starting in mid-August and finished, the project took 60-70 hours to
complete.
"She's loves it," Carpenter said. "She said it was amazing, and she sent me a
text saying how cool it was and how thankful she was for what what I did for
her."
Knowing your efforts were appreciated by someone you loved the most, what else
can you ask for? Everything he has done was all worth it. Now, AJ gets to live
in Super Mario Bros. world in her bedroom. Thanks to her amazing dad, Dustin
Carpenter!
