A growing online casino industry inspired by Super Mario

Ever since Super Mario Bros was first released to the Nintendo 8-bit console in 1985, this mushroom munching Italian has inspired countless of game developers and ambitious people. What would the world be like without this fascinating character and phenomenal video game series? Well, if we ask those who love taking risks by gambling at online casinos they would surely say that the experience wouldn’t be the same as one of their favorite slot machines would be missing.

It was in May 2017 that one of the world’s most creative slot providers, Thunderkick, created the casino game Flame Busters, which is clearly inspired by the first Super Mario release. Well, to say clearly might be a bit of an overstatement as to our knowledge there has never been a fire station, any wizards, pirates, robots or cigarette smoking goats (say what now?) in Super Mario. We know what you’re thinking and yes, it’s quite an interesting mix of characters and god knows how many mushrooms the team who came up with the idea had ingested at the time.

A Super Mario version of the Pokémon TCG Online?

Pokemon Trading Card Game Online 1
A battle takes place in the Pokemon Trading Card game online.

Pokémon and Super Mario are two of the most famous mega franchises of the world which have earned millions of dollars for years and their popularity just doesn’t seem to die. Both the franchises come under the property of Nintendo which is the biggest multinational company based in Japan but having its roots spread worldwide. Nintendo solely owns Super Mario because it was developed fully in-house at Nintendo and is the purer intellectual property of the company while Pokémon was a mutual venture of the three giants in the video gaming industry: Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures.

Super Mario Vs. Pokémon

Super Mario is worldwide famous game, played across all over the world. It was award winning game in earlier nineties. Super Mario is amongst one of the evergreen games that are still being played and updated frequently. Nintendo has never given up on this game. Super Mario after every one or two years comes up with a new version. Recently Mario Kart came up with and everyone loved to play that game. Mario is a famous character with moustache. Wearing red hat and red overall.

Pokémon Trading Card game on the other hand is most widely played card game amongst kids and teen globally. Pokémon has very different gaming experience than Super Mario. The main Difference between Super Mario and Pokémon is Super Mario is one-character game, although different characters have been developed over the time for making Super Mario to be played on multiplayer platform. But still it is primarily one character-based game. Pokémon on the other hand has thousands of characters. The focus is on small little monsters that can be searched, hunted and trained. Also, two trainers can compete with each other’s Pokémon’s on a bench.

Pokémon Trading Card game is a continuous search of more able and rare cards. Trading Cards and fighting with your opponent over the bench. Every match played, is unique. There is too much variety, that it is nearly impossible to imagine two players having same entire deck. This makes Pokémon Trading Card game addictive and interesting.

It is very interesting to know that Super Mario, which is nearly as famous as Pokémon trading Card game has no TCG version. Well, the reason can easily be predicted. Super Mario has a limited amount of characters and limited properties. If at all a Super Mario based TCG emerges, it would definitely contradict with the Original Super Mario game. Because new characters, new rules and new gaming experience must have to be developed. In Fact, it would be just a name that would be common between Super Mario game and Super Mario Trading Card Game.

Let's imagine how Super Mario Trading Card game can be like.

This is followed by Mario Kart 8, which sold 9.22 million copies. This last bit of news is highly interesting and relevant here because it just goes to show that spin-offs can be just as popular (if not more in some cases) than some of the main game products.

Top 5 Nintendo-Based Slots Games

The Japanese gaming giant Nintendo is responsible for some of the most iconic games and characters in history, games that have gone on to influence global culture, media, fashion and music on a scale that no other games have been able to do before or since. You don't have to be a lifelong Nintendo fan to be able to instantly recognize the cheery chiptune beats of  Mario 64 or the instantly recognizable race course of Mario Kart such as Rainbow Road. Even iconic pioneer games such as Tetris belong under the Nintendo banner.

Part of what makes Nintendo games so successful is their powerful and widely recognizable brand appeal, which is why the iconography of their most beloved games and characters has been replicated across just about every medium you can possibly think of. This happens to also include slot games, which have long been adept at capitalizing on popular existing games to appeal to a wide array of fans worldwide. Nintendo has produced many seriously fun slot machine games of their own over the years. Nintendo-based slot games have earned their way into the annals of the most enduring and endlessly replayable gaming experiences in history. Here are five of the very best.

1. Hot Slots

When choosing the best, it's right to start at the very beginning. Hot Slots was a 1991 release for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) which allowed the players to enjoy all of the heart-pounding excitement of the slot machine experience from the comfort of their own homes for the first time in history. To begin each game, the player must select one of three slots on offer from a fairly simple (by modern standards) gaming format; "Cutie Bunny", "Juicy Fruits" or "Las Vegas", before then going on to rack up medallions with each lucky pull, with the eventual goal of bagging the mega jackpot.

Coins have actually featured in the series since the very beginning, making their debut as an uncommon item all the way back in 1983's Mario Bros. Collecting coins isn't exclusive to games that star Mario and Luigi, it's actually a fairly common game mechanic. But why exactly is that?

It was just a year later that Donkey Kong Junior was released, and soon after that came Mario Bros. By the end of that decade, there were several new Mario games on the market and a variety of characters had been introduced, most of which are still in the games today.
