Mario and friends are in the Wild Wild West where King Koopa unintentionally chases them into a lost gold coin mine. When Koopa hears of the mine he enslaves the local people into mining all the gold coins for him.

When a blow to the head causes Luigi to think that he's a game show host, Jim Lange tries to convince him that he isn't.
